As Aldeias Históricas de Portugal é um projeto que alberga 12 aldeias da região centro, abrangendo os distritos da Guarda, Castelo Branco e Coimbra, e que visa promover o património cultural e histórico destes aglomerados que se destacam, também, pela sua beleza.

Este é um projeto que tem sido reconhecido na área do turismo pela sua importância e pelo papel que tem desempenhado no desenvolvimento turístico da região. Desta vez o reconhecimento veio por parte da ART&TUR, Festival Internacional de Cinema e Turismo, arrecadando o 2º prémio na Categoria Temática Turismo Rural com o filme promocional “GR22– Grande Rota das Aldeias Históricas de Portugal”, produzido pela Um Segundo Filmes com a direção de Humberto Rocha para as Aldeias Históricas de Portugal.

Em competição estiveram 301 filmes de 52 países, sendo que este Festival é um dos maiores e mais criativos certames de turismo a nível mundial, promovido pela APTUR – Associação Portuguesa de Turismologia, numa parceria com a BIDGE – Events and entertainment, sendo internacionalmente reconhecido como um veículo eficaz de Marketing Turístico, em particular na valorização e ativação das marcas das entidades participantes.

As Aldeias Históricas de Portugal são: Almeida, Belmonte, Castelo Mendo, Castelo Novo, Castelo Rodrigo, Idanha-a-Velha, Linhares da Beira, Marialva, Monsanto, Piódão, Sortelha e Trancoso.
