Let’s G!O à Romaria em Gouveia!

A arte manifesta-se de diversas formas e qualquer local pode ser alvo de uma intervenção artística.

A intenção da Arte Urbana é dar nova vida a edifícios e espaços das cidades criando novas dinâmicas. No interior o mapa da Arte Urbana integra cidades como Viseu, Covilhã e Castelo Branco, mapa que agora recebe mais uma cidade, que verá, durante a próxima quinzena, o edifício do seu Mercado Municipal ser tela para alguns artistas nacionais e estrangeiros.

Gouveia em parceria com o projeto G!O Romaria Cultural promove a valorização artística do espaço do Mercado e a sua renovação contribuindo, assim, para novas dinâmicas, valorizando o espaço e criando uma oferta cultural gratuita.

O grupo portuense CIRCUS, conhecido pelos seus trabalhos na cidade invicta, pelas mãos de Lara Luís e os Chei Crew serão os responsáveis pelo início desta obra e estarão em residência na cidade de Gouveia até ao final de julho.

O Projeto G!O Romaria Cultural pretende fazer de Gouveia um ponto de encontro, unindo as pessoas pelo seu amor à cultura e arte.

Trata-se de uma celebração da cultura dando-a a conhecer a quem visitar esta cidade, e fazer com que voltem todos os anos.

Uma iniciativa de cariz comunitário que surgiu da vontade de um grupo de Gouveenses preocupados com a falta de ofertas culturais diversificadas na sua cidade e no interior do país. Surge como uma forma original de promoção do concelho de Gouveia através de estratégias de valorização do património.

Vai já na sua segunda edição e apresenta uma programação totalmente gratuita.

Os objetivos desta Romaria cultural passam por promover a visibilidade e atratividade do concelho de Gouveia, reforçar a capacidade de mudança e de criação do valor do comércio local, valorizar tradições e reinventá-las no contexto contemporâneo, fomentar o contexto cultural, dando a conhecer os recursos humanos existentes nessa área e promover uma atitude de cidadania participativa.

A G!O Romaria Cultural deste ano decorrerá nos dias 24, 25 e 26 de julho.

Os visitantes terão a oportunidade de ver o trabalho final na intervenção artística do Mercado Municipal a par de iniciativas de cinema, como a “Monstra à solta em Gouveia” que irá ter lugar no Teatro Cine de Gouveia e que vai passar filmes do Festival de animação de Lisboa.

Durante estes dias terá ainda lugar o 1º Instameet serrano que convida todos os instagrammers portugueses para capturar fotos em Gouveia.

Outra das atividades que terão lugar durante este G!O Romaria Cultural são as Feirinhas G!O Romaria Cultural, no Mercado Municipal, Praça Alípio de Melo, Av. Dos Bombeiros e Jardim do Museu Abel Manta, e que consistem em Feiras de Artesanato, 2ªmão, Gastronomia, Agricultura e Feira de Troca de Brinquedos. Para visitar, ainda as exposições no Teatro Cine Club Camões, Galerias Abel Manta, Casa da Torre e lojas do centro da cidade.

Ainda em várias ruas da cidade os visitantes poderão assistir a vários concertos de vários géneros que passarão pelo Fado, Clássica e passando pelo Pop Rock e pela música electrónica.

São várias as iniciativas a decorrer durante estes três dias em Gouveia como dança, poesia, teatro, performances, jogos tradicionais, workshops, apresentação de livros, observação de aves, desporto, contadores de histórias e intervenções artísticas que convidam a ir em Romaria num percurso cultural totalmente gratuito.
