Sabemos que somos uma região cheia de gente talentosa, mas não basta dizer que temos talento e temos valor, as pessoas de cá querem ser reconhecidas e demonstrar ao mundo os seus feitos. A pensar nisso mesmo e tendo em consideração os feitos das suas gentes, Gouveia cria os “Prémios de Desporto e Expressão Artística” numa frequência anual e que pretende premiar quem se destacar nestas áreas.

A grande intenção destes prémios é distinguir aqueles que, ao longo do ano e época desportiva, tenham representado um papel preponderante no âmbito cultural e do desenvolvimento do desporto no concelho de Gouveia, seja a nível nacional como além fronteiras.

Além desse objetivo que visa distinguir os melhores, este prémios têm ainda a intenção de promover e divulgar a expressão artística e a prática do desporto e atividade física.

As candidaturas a estes prémios poderão ser apresentadas de forma individual ou, então, propostas por associações, clubes e coletividades desportivas do concelho de Gouveia.
