Vinhos do Dão brilham no concurso Vinhos de Portugal 2017
O concurso decorreu no passado dia 19 de maio e a região do Dão foi uma das grandes vencedoras na noite!
Foram um total de 341 medalhas, das quais 30 na categoria Grande Ouro, 121 de Ouro e 190 de Prata atestam a qualidade do vinho nacional, as distribuídas nesta edição. O Alentejo, anfitrião da edição 2017 do Concurso Vinhos de Portugal, foi a região que recebeu mais medalhas Grande Ouro do júri, enquanto o Dão sobressaiu nos grandes prémios.
Os sete grandes prémios do Concurso Vinhos de Portugal, que distinguem os melhores entre os 341 vinhos premiados, foram distribuídas pelas regiões do Dão, Douro, Vinho Verde, Porto e Bairrada. O vinho Villa Oliveira Touriga Nacional (2011), da Casa da Passarella, da região do Dão, foi considerado o “Melhor Vinho do Ano” vencendo também o prémio “Melhor Varietal Tinto 2017”. A região do Dão esteve ainda em evidência nos grandes prémios do certame com o Quinta dos Carvalhais Reserva (2012) a ser considerado “Melhor Vinho Branco 2017”.
Foram mais de 110 os especialistas nacionais e internacionais que avaliaram os cerca de 1373 vinhos em prova, atribuindo 341 medalhas, tendo a região do Dão arrecadado 4 medalhas na categoria mais elevada – Grande Ouro onde foram distribuídas 7 medalhas.

Este é um vinho para ser degustado, como qualquer vinho de elegância do Dão. De aroma muito delicado, sobressaem algumas notas florais, fruta vermelha viva e algumas notas de ervas aromáticas. Trata-se de um vinho de corpo médio, belíssima acidez, taninos firmes, de uma elegância e frescura de final explosivo e de muito bom comprimento.
