Os novos vinhos da Quinta de Lemos

Portugal é um país rico em vinhos, sendo vários os tipos que são produzidos.

Na Região Demarcada do Dão são diversas as marcas que cimentam a sua posição no mercado graças à alta qualidade dos seus vinhos, sendo a aposta na sua promoção dentro e fora do país cada vez mais forte.

A inovação e a apresentação regular de novos vinhos faz parte dessa estratégia de promoção e consolidação das marcas, havendo cada vez mais cuidado na forma como as marcas se apresentam no mercado. Exemplo de notoriedade é a Quinta de Lemos que investe na apresentação de vinhos de qualidade superior , exclusivos, aliado a uma marca que fortemente consolida a sua posição no mercado.

Recentemente a Quinta de Lemos apresentou os novos vinhos, seguindo o desígnio da exclusividade, reflexo de um trabalho cuidado e intenso que os torna verdadeiramente especiais. São seis os novos vinhos tornados conhecidos, das colheitas de 2011, sendo eles os tintos Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Dona Santana e Dona Georgina, assim como o branco Dona Paulette da colheita de 2014. Estes vinhos pretendem homenagear as mulheres da família do proprietário, a sua mãe Dona Georgina e a sua esposa Dona Paulette.

Os seis novos vinhos foram apresentados no Restaurante Mesa de Lemos em Silgueiros, numa prova exclusiva que juntou cerca de duas dezenas de pessoas, sendo que os vinhos já foram apresentados, igualmente, em Lisboa e no Algarve.

Hugo Chaves é o enólogo responsável e afirma acreditar que 2011 é um ano que vai marcar a memória de muitos dos apreciadores destas castas, que segundo o mesmo respeitam e dignificam o conceito “Quinta de Lemos”.

Estes são vinhos que, segundo Hugo Chaves, são para serem apreciados de “mente aberta” por não serem vinhos padronizados, e isso é o que os torna especiais.

dona georgina

O Dona Georgina 2011 é feito a partir da Touriga Nacional é a casta maioritária, mas é a Tinta Roriz que lhe acrescenta complexidade, elegância e estrutura. É um vinho profundo no aroma, com notas de fruto preto muito maduro, floral e confitado. Denso e saboroso, tem taninos presentes que lhe conferem um longo e concentrado final.

O Dona Paulette 2014 é um Vinho feito 100% com a casta Encruzado, que lhe confere equilíbrio, aroma e uma grande longevidade. Um Branco de grande complexidade, com notas cítricas, vegetais e madeira bem integrada. Estruturado, volumoso e mineral, com acidez bem equilibrada.

O Jaen 2011 provem de uma casta que permite obter um vinho com aromas de fruta vermelha, de grande exuberância, levemente confitado. Com sabores a framboesa e notas florais resinosas típicas do Jaen, menta. Trata-se de um vinho equilibrado, sensual e final com saboroso.

O Alfrocheiro 2011apresenta um aroma floral de jasmim e camomila, com frutos vermelhos muito delicados. É um vinho elegante, macio e aveludado, cheio de sabor, polido e sedoso.

O Tinta Roriz 2011é feito de uma casta que confere aos vinhos um elevado potencial de envelhecimento. Tem um aroma profundo de fruto preto e, na boca, apresenta-se cheio e complexo, com cereja, ginja e especiarias. Com taninos presentes no final, muito precisos, que lhe confere um saboroso final.

O vinho Touriga Nacional 2011 é feito de uma casta autóctone portuguesa da região do Dão e faz um vinho de aroma intenso, com sabores de fruta preta madura, ameixa, amora, bergamota e flores de violeta. Vinho vigoroso e equilibrado.

No vinho Dona Santana 2011 a Touriga Nacional, cheia e volumosa, com a Tinta Roriz, doce e estruturada, e o Jaen que traz aromas complexos, permite obter um vinho aromático, com especiarias e bagas silvestres. Trata-se de um vinho estruturado, muito sedoso e com um final fresco e apelativo.
