Já começa a ganhar forma um dos festivais mais alternativos da Europa e que se realizada em Idanha-a-Nova de dois em dois anos.
Este é um evento conhecido em Portugal, mas é no público estrangeiro que ele ganha expressão, sendo, um dos Festivais que mais pessoas atrai em Portugal, sendo que na sua maioria falamos de pessoas que chegam dos quatro cantos do mundo, Falamos do Boom Festival.
É um festival alternativo, com uma essência muito própria e que transforma a região, com uma energia muito própria e uma filosofia única, fatores que o tornam tão especial e tão procurado, de tal modo que ao final de um mês de colocação à venda dos 33,333 bilhetes online os mesmo já tinham esgotado, e falamos de bilhetes a custarem 130€.
O Boom Festival decorre de 11 a 18 de agosto na Barragem de Idanha-a-Nova e celebra a cultura alternativa, sendo um festival multidisciplinar, transgeracional e intercultural, cruzando diversas correntes artísticas como a pintura, escultura, land art, instalações interativas, música, vídeo arte, galeria de artes plásticas ou graffiti.
O cartaz contém música, claro, conferencias, workshops, tertúlias e apresentações de temas variados.
Para este ano o tema escolhido é o Xamanismo, a mais antiga forma de religião da humanidade, assente numa forte ligação ecológica, na consciencialização da interdependência dos organismos terrestres, e na crença da existência de mundos invisíveis. Este tema pretende ser um tributo às inúmeras formas simbólicas que a figura do xamã representa nas diversas culturas da América, África, Austrália, Ásia e Europa, aliado ao facto de ser uma das mais importantes inspirações mundiais do movimento psicadélico e visionário.
Para este ano o Festival Boom conta com algumas novidades como a introdução de uma nova zona dedicada à Dança, um novo espaço dedicado às tecnologias ecológicas, com uma abordagem centrada em modelos comunitários e no conceito “Faz tu mesmo”, de forma a descobrir as inovações que estão a ser desenvolvidas de modo a criar um futuro mais sustentável.
Outra das novidades é a criação de uma zona dedicada às Organizações Não Governamentais. Haverá ainda um novo jardim repleto de instalações interativas de arte digital e uma nova área de restauração e convívio no Campismo e Parque de Caravanas B.
Os bilhetes online já estão esgotados. A organização mantem a premissa de limitação de bilhetes por acreditar que crescimento não é sinónimo de sucesso. No entanto, haverá bilhetes à venda, a partir de 23 de fevereiro nos embaixadores, locais escolhidos onde as pessoas poderão comprar o seu bilhete e ficar a conhecer mais pormenores do Festival, podem consultar a lista no site oficial do Festival.
O Boom Festival é o único Festival Português com prémios internacionais reconhecido pela sua filosofia ambiental.
