Mary Poppins, a Ama que todos queremos!
Está no nosso imaginário há muitos anos. É, provavelmente, uma das personagens mais marcantes e queridas do cinema e fez as delicias de muitas famílias nas noites de cinema.
Enigmática, divertida e deliciosamente mágica, ela é a ama perfeita, aquela com que, quando éramos crianças, gostaríamos de ter tido e aquela que gostaríamos que existisse para tomar conta dos nossos filhos, com os poderes de voar com o seu guarda chuva preto incluídos, ela era Mary Poppins! Estreou nas salas nacionais em 1965, e está de volta, não à sétima arte mas ao teatro, e aqui bem perto, com assinatura nacional, no Teatro Municipal da Guarda.
No dia 13 de junho, sobe ao palco do Pequeno Auditório a Peça “Mary Poppins, a mulher que salvou o mundo”. Esperamos que a ama venha salvar o mundo de mais uma família, mas da mesma forma que as taxas de juro podem variar, o mesmo acontece com os ventos, e Mary Poppins parte sempre que o vento muda, deixando o caos. Mary Poppins apresenta-se a uma nova família, candidatando-se ao lugar de preceptora. Deve sujeitar-se a uma entrevista de emprego, apresentando o seu vasto curriculum e falando do seu longuíssimo percurso.
A família está ansiosa para a receber e lança-se em pedidos e desejos que a preceptora deverá satisfazer.
O espetáculo explora o sentido musical existente nas palavras, a prosápia, os momentos corais, o absurdo dos sentidos, integrando o non-sense, tentando dar emprego à antiga preceptora.
Segundo a critica este é um espetáculo surpreendente e enigmático, divertido, ligeiro, analítico, profundo, rigoroso e disfarçado de ingénuo. Quem o traz à Guarda é Ricardo Neves-Neves pela produção do Teatro do Eléctrico e com interpretações de Ana Valentim, Custódia Gallego, Patrícia Andrade, Rafael Gomes e Vítor Oliveira.
