Na região da Serra da Estrela há muitos certames ao longo do ano, dedicados aos bons produtos que aqui existem e, por isso mesmo, são muitos os eventos.

No entanto, e mesmo que sejam dedicados aos mesmos produtos, existem certames que se destacam no mapa da região, não apenas por aquilo que promovem, mas pela qualidade do evento em si e pela sua importância no panorama nacional.
Com 24 anos de existência, a Feira do Vinho do Dão que se realiza em Nelas, dá a conhecer os produtores e os Vinhos da Região Demarcada do Dão.
Já por aqui falamos dos Vinhos do Dão e da importância que têm vindo a assumir na economia do país. São vinhos que têm alcançado patamares de excelência e são reconhecidos por este mundo fora, conquistando galardões nos principais certames vitivinícolas mundiais, muito graças à persistência e trabalho árduo dos produtores da região, alguns dos quais já com séculos de existência.

Este ano a Feira do Vinho do Dão entra numa nova Era.

Com uma nova imagem, mais global e diferenciadora e que promete elevar o patamar desta Feira, consolidando a sua importância no panorama dos eventos vitivinícolas nacionais, assumindo-se como um certame de referencia e posicionando-se como uma marca que será a montra dos Vinhos da Região Demarcada do Dão, e já que os vinhos têm alcançado uma qualidade tão elevada, também a imagem e a organização da própria Feira assumirá esse desafio.
Com uma imagem que promete consolidar este evento como uma marca, a organização, a cargo do Município de Nelas, considerou que havia necessidade de homenagear aqueles que tornam possível este Evento tendo para isso organizado um jantar onde apresentou a nova imagem, onde deu a conhecer a nova filosofia do evento, com uma vertente cultural forte a acompanhar a sua vertente económica, o que o tornará apelativo a todos os tipos de públicos.

A homenagem consistiu na nomeação de Embaixadores a todos aqueles que contribuem para que a Feira seja possível e que garantem o seu sucesso.

Esta foi a forma que a organização encontrou para agradecer todos os esforços encetados por produtores e entidades envolvidas.

A Feira do Vinho do Dão tem lugar no primeiro fim-de-semana de setembro e este ano irá decorrer nos dias 4, 5 e 6 em frente à Câmara Municipal de Nelas. Contará com centenas de expositores e com uma programação muito forte, com destaque para o Musical “As músicas que o vinho dão” a cargo da Associação Contracanto de Lapa do Lobo, que aproveitaram para dar a conhecer, durante o jantar dos Embaixadores, um pouco daquilo que o público poderá ver durante a Feira.
